Orihon 折本

A private journal that folds like paper.

An orihon is a book made from one long sheet of paper, folded like an accordion. This one lives on your iPhone. Each day is a page of graph paper, and the pages run on for as long as you keep writing.

Write straight on the paper

There are no boxes to fill in and no Save button. Tap the page and write. Press a seal to mark a meal, a feeling, a workout or an idea. Paste in a photo, or hold Speak and say it instead.

Made for the fold

On iPhone Duo, the closed phone is a quick place to mark the day. Open it and the same page carries on across the inner screen, like a book lying open on a desk. Orihon works on iPhone too.

Yours alone

Orihon has no accounts, no analytics and no advertising. Your book lives on your iPhone and, if you want, in your own private iCloud. Health numbers never leave the phone. Nothing is ever posted anywhere. The privacy policy is one short page.

Take it with you

Everything you put in comes back out. Export the whole book whenever you like, with your pages, your photos and your words in plain files.
